Into Africa: Now the Yanks want to join the party

Gene Expression has a compelling piece on a proposed US intervention in Liberia. The conclusion is Africa: don't go there. Of course there will be plenty of people - possibly among the post-Libertarians on Samizdata - who would say that we need to go in and force freedom on the Africans.
