It must be true, the Sun said it. And they aren't prone to making stupid fatuous comments about Britain's success abroard, after all remember the victory over the Taliban in, oh, November.

Any way the situation in Israel is a sad comment on our inability to control our foreign policy. In this oriental power play, I suppose I'm on the Israeli's side, however a preference is not the same as a vital relationship worth dying for. However we support the Americans wholeheartedly, and the Americans support Israel - so we support Israel and provide a nice easy secondary target for any Islamic nut who feels like blowing up himself and some innocent civilians. As always it will be the plebs and not our leaders who will suffer.
